Thrive Market wanted to elevate Earth Month storytelling beyond digital marketing—creating something members could hold, save, and return to. Down to Earth reimagines blog content, recipes, and social posts into a collectible zine that brings together sourcing stories, composting tips, and family activities. As Art Director, I led visual direction and photography, establishing the visual language that made sustainable living feel grounded, accessible, and inspiring.

Down to Earth Zine

I developed the visual direction using Thrive's Spring palette, earthy greens, warm tones, and neutrals, to create photography that felt elegant yet approachable. The imagery celebrates simple moments: hands picking fruit, fresh ingredients, and meals to be shared around a table. Shot with natural light and organic styling, the work feels grounded in real life rather than aspiration.

Printed on 100% recycled paper, the zine blends editorial storytelling, design, and photography to make mindful living feel inviting. The project resonated so strongly with our marketing team that it inspired them to create another zine for our "Sharing Our Table" campaign, demonstrating how thoughtful creative can deepen member connection and elevate Thrive's mission beyond transactional content.
